Some Eskom workers have vowed not to return to their posts until a wage deal has been signed.
The power utility has offered a 7 percent wage increase which is expected to be discussed on Friday.
Workers embarked on an unprotected strike following a deadlock in wage negotiations.
While some workers returned to work on Wednesday, others say they do not trust the power utility and will wait until the ink has dried.
NUM’s Livhuwani Mammburu said: “There’s a lot at play. Workers say they do not trust Eskom anymore.
“Last year, Eskom signed a 1.5 percent hike without reaching an agreement with unions. Also the apartheid wage gap, they emphasize that Eskom cannot be trusted. Those are some of the issues that are making workers angry.”
