Sanelisiwe “Chef Nesh” Bhengu — also known as Sane — has shaken the tables on Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) since her arrival in the second episode of the third season.

Upon arrival, the private chef clashed with new edition Slindile Wendy “Slee” Ndlovu and former cast member and singer Londie London. Sane has also gossiped about returnee Annie Mthembu’s marriage.
The housewives were introduced to Sane when Sorisha invited them to her spa launch in episode two. It seems she will be taking season one and two’s Mabusi Seme’s spot as a “friend of the show.”
However, unlike Mabusi, Sane is very opinionated and has not filter.
After introducing herself, she did not take kindly to Slee asking if she had catered the event; saying the question was classist because she clearly introduced herself as a private chef and not a caterer.
That evening, she also dragged Londie for filth when she told her that her man left her because she is rude. The musician was married to businessman Hlubi Nkosi and the pair has two children together. Last year, Londie confirmed their split and she also moved out of their home in Westville, Durban.
When Nonku Willimas confronted her about her behaviour, she pretended to have forgotten.

But it is evident that Sane is not one to keep her thoughts and opinions to herself as she trash-talked Annie and her businness mogul husband Kgolo “Daguru” Mthembu’s marriage in the third episode.
Sane made a jaw-dropping statement, saying Annie was just a “lousy PA” who “slept her way to the top”.

Showmax has not indicated whether or not Sane is on the show to stay, but she had definitely set tongues wagging and raised questions about her life. Here’s what we know about her so far…
1. SHE IS A GOSSIP COLUMNIST
According to Annie in the third episode, she discovered that Sane is a gossip columnist. This would explain why she knows so much about almost every RHOD cast member.
2. SANE HAS A YOUTUBE CHANNEL
The private chef has a YouTube channel and it appears that is where she publishes all her celeb gossip as it is littered with stories about media personalities such as the late Mampintsha and his widow Babes Wodumo, the late DJ Sumbody and other celebrities.
3. THE CHEF WAS ON ‘COME DINE WITH ME’
For some viewers, Sane’s face looks quite familiar. That is because she has participated on much-loved BBC cooking competition Come Dine With MeSouth Africa.
However, according to fans who remember the episode she featured in vividly, her cooking skills were not those of a private chef.
4. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT HIRING HITMEN?
According to Sunday World, Sane had a protection order filed against her for intimidation and death threats.
The publication reported in 2020 that Uzalo and Ehostela star Thobani Nzuza was granted a protection order against Sane after she hired hitmen to get him killed.
“It was her, Senelisiwe, and the three guys, which she claims to be her hitmen. They broke into my room, kicked one of my friends whom I had left in my room,” read the court papers.
5. SHE SHOULD’VE BEEN IN SEASON 1
In her interview with News24, Sane revealed that she was approached for season one and two but she was not ready as she was dealing with a business investment that went wrong.
“I was just not grown enough. Second season still, I was not ready, but this season I chose to join, and I chose to be a friend of the show,” she said.
