SAFA has announced the return of the 2023 Hollywoodbets Super League season, which roars to life on 4 February 2023.
The Hollywoodbets Super League will welcome two new teams who were promoted from the Sasol league.
Copperbelt Ladies and University of Pretoria stormed into the Hollywoodbets Super League through the 2022 Sasol League National Playoffs.
The two teams were finalists in the new format SAFA introduced last year. The format was created to have a broader spectrum for women’s football.

Under the new format, Tsunami Queens and Golden Ladies drop to the Sasol League. The league will also welcome TS Galaxy Queens, who recently bought the status of Vasco Da Gama.
