Media personality Somizi Mhlongo is allegedly preparing to get married for the second time to his new fiancé, Pholoso Mohlala, in September. Sources also reveal that he paid lobola for The Queen actor in March. The Idols SA judge Somizi Mhlongo has also allegedly paid lobola for his fiancé Pholoso Mohlala and the two will get married this September.
“The date’s been set. He’s getting married in September. The couple’s going to look at wedding venues on Monday [tomorrow],” said one source.
“He paid lobola during the long weekend of March 19 at Pholoso’s home in Hammanskraal. Mhlongo and Mohlala made headlines in April when blogger Musa Khawula revealed the Living the Dream With Somizi reality star hosted a 26th birthday celebration for him.
The poster for the event reveals he hosted the part for him at Just Cuban restaurant in Hatfield, Pretoria, along with media personality Dineo Ranaka.
“Somizi just wants to get married. It’s as if he’s trying to show [his estranged husband, media personality Mohale Motaung] that, even after leaving him, he’ll find another man and settle down.”
The former Metro FM also said on his reality TV show that the biggest highlight of season five was that he’s getting married again. I want to get married at 50. The first time was a rehearsal.” He will be turning 50 in December. Mhlongo also revealed on his show that his new man has a career, a house, a car and he’s extremely into him.
The publication adds that they recently celebrated their engagement in Cape Town at Ayepyep Lifestyle and that neither of them has commented on the alleged upcoming nuptials.
The former Isidingo actor Pholoso Mohlala, who recently appeared in Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Queen also made headlines earlier this month when he welcomed a newborn baby with his baby mama. The Pretoria-based actor announced his newborn baby on his Instagram account and his followers also congratulated him when he shared a picture of his pregnant baby mama on 1 July.
One of his followers @Lona_nombila commented. Congratulations buddy’ to which Mohlala replied ‘Thanks aunt’ when he posted his highly pregnant baby mama.
