Minister of Agriculture John Steenhuisen has been trolled over his dance moves – again – during an official engagement.

The Democratic Alliance leader attended a bilateral meeting with representatives from Vietnam to strengthen agricultural ties.

The 49-year-old has often been mocked for his lack of rhythm and his pronunciation of vernacular languages.

JOHN STEENHUISEN TROLLED OVER DANCE MOVES

Over the weekend, John Steenhuisen became the joke of the X timeline after he was captured dancing at a bilateral meeting with Vietnamese representatives.

The minister was joined by others, such as Minister of Education Siviwe Gwarube, Minister of Small Business Development Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, and DIRCO minister Ronald Lamola.

The group danced to Miriam Makeba’s Pata Pata, but all eyes were on Steenhuisen.

“Dancing for his supper”, one X user said of the viral video.

WEIGHT GAIN TOO

John Steenhuisen has faced jibes not only over his dance moves but also over his weight.

In recent months, appearance has been critiqued by social media users.

“Lay off the pies”, one X user commented under the Minister of Agriculture’s recent post.

Another added: “GNU is for looting, even John Steenhuisen is getting FAT.”

Others posted side-by-side comparisons of the Minister of Agriculture before and after joining the GNU, while some compared his appearance to that of Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, Gwede Mantashe.
