Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane did it again with yet another underwhelming performance. He was performing his newest single titled Makhwapheni with autotune, but nobody bothered to bat an eyelid. He bored the crowd almost to sleep at the KwaZulu-Natal establishment Kwa Max Lifestyle.

The audience at Max Lifestyle didn’t bother to move an inch when he was on the stage. All of them seemed extremely bored and uninterested. As he sang his tune, people continued their normal conversations. It was as if he was performing for blank walls.

Some people found their phones to be way more interesting than his performance. Others stared at him like they were anticipating him getting off the stage. Andile looked like a clown on that stage with people. Not a single person responded to his performance. Andile created a challenge to push his song. He promised people R10,000 for the best rendition, but the song still has zero momentum.

Mind you, and Max Lifestyle is owned by Shauwn Mkhize’s close friend Max Mqadi. Typically he hires performers who know how to get the crowd moving. Getting Andile to perform, knowing he usually flops on stage, was rather unusual.

A similar instance in Pretoria

Andile trended across all social media platforms in Mzansi when he had a similar stage experience in Pretoria. He was performing one of his gqom songs on stage, and the crowd was motionless. Footage of the group was animated and later turned into several memes. Today the meme is one of the most popular in Mzansi.

After the footage emerged on social media, several people made jokes about it, especially on his posts. Some of the comments on his posts are of people asking him to return to Pretoria. Some would ask him why he performed gqom songs in Pretoria, embarrassing himself. Everyone in Mzansi knows Pretoria is one of the capitals of amapiano in Mzansi.

Just before jetting off to the United States of America for his performance, Andile failed to move the crowd in KONKA. He performed there, but nobody could hear what he was singing. His audience was just motionless. Pretoria is a dead giveaway, and his performance at Kwa Max Lifestyle was a big flop despite gqom and kwaito being so prevalent in KwaZulu Natal.

Mzansi keeps sharing the idea that the boy stops singing and performing altogether. Many think his music career has been in the pipeline for too long. He also dislikes creating too much hype for his unknown and unliked songs.

He is currently one of the most spoken-about people in Mzansi. This came after the abuse allegations against him made by his baby mama Sithelo Shozi. He is also trending for forcing to be a recognizable star in Mzansi despite seeing his career flopping.
