Sibongiseni Shezi is currently portraying the character of Hleziphi on the hit telenovela Uzalo. On Uzalo, she plays a feist young lady who can do anything to get what she wants. She is the kind of actress that produces fireworks each time she is on set. Hleziphi is heartless, and she is unapologetic about her actions. She doesn’t care if she has to kill to fulfil her selfish needs. As of late, she bewitched her friend Nonka in contemplation of taking her boyfriend, Kwanda.

The actress was born in KwaZulu Natal. Not much is known about her primary and secondary school, but she obtained her first degree at Wits University. Sibongiseni had her first degree in Music when she was 22 and worked as a ballet dancer and musician. Her ballet skills were extraordinary, and her flexibility was unquestionable till tragedy happened. She was involved in a car accident in 2013 when attending a family party. The accident ruined her dancing career, and she pursued another degree in Arts, marking the beginning of her career in acting.

Sibongiseni Shezi is an AFDA graduate; she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Live Performance Cum Laude. After graduating with her AFDA degree, she bagged an acting gig on Uzalo as Nonka’s evil friend. She is here for serious business; her role on Uzalo proves she did not join the acting industry to play.
