Motsepe Foundation Championship side Uthongathi FC have re-appointed Papi Zothwane, iDiski Times has learnt.
Just a few days after the Cane Cutters parted ways with co-coaches Philani Shange and Themba Masango they have now re-appointed Zothwane, who was their head coach last season when they finished eighth.
The KwaZulu Natal-based side fired Simo Dladla after four games into the season, despite winning two and drawing two.
He was then replaced by Shange and Masango whom themselves got fired after being in charge for just six games, winning two games, drawing two and losing two.
Despite the coaching changes, Uthongathi are placed in fifth place on the league table.
They will face struggling Black Leopards before going to the FIFA World Cup break that will take more than a month. Zothwane, who was assistant coach at Polokwane City, is expected to be in charge of the team for their final game before the break.
