As reported by FARPost yesterday, GladAfrica Championship side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have appointed Johnny Ferreira as the club’s new head coach.
The former Venda Football Academy (VFA) mentor will work alongside Lucky ‘Muchichwa’ Nelukau and co-coach Ricardo Miriri.
The 64-year-old manager previously coached teams such as FC Cape Town, Uthongathi, Sekhunene United, and Polokwane City. He also served as an assistant coach at the now-defunct Black Aces.
Last campaign, Ferreira guided VFA to the fifth position in their first season in the South African football second-tier.
Meanwhile, TTM finished 13th in the last season with six points above the relegation zone under the tutelage of coach Nelukau.
The Limpopo-based outfit also promised its fans a pleasurable and entertaining football ahead of the 2022/23 season, having secured the services of Xolani ‘Blackberry’ Nkala, Cheslyn Jampies, Thabo Moloi, Sibusiso Fakude, Issa Sarr, Enocent Mkhabela, Eden Nene, Darren Job and Thabiso Nkoana.
