Singer Tshedi Mholo recently expressed her worry for Collen Mmotla, better known as DJ Chymamusique, after a harrowing car accident landed him in ICU.

Tshedi, who popular for singing for the Afro-pop group, Malaika, recently took to her Facebook page to share a video clip of her and DJ Chymamusique recording a song in studio. In the caption of her post, she said: “Chymamusique we have unfinished business thle (please). Get well bro.” Tshedi told TshisaLIVE that they had been working on a new song before the car accident.

“I was sharing how me and him started this song together and wishing him a speedy recovery. That song is pending. As heartbreaking as this is, I wish him to recover fully. We have unfinished business,” said Tshedi.

Facebook users weighed in:

One user said: “Your tone is out of this world sisi. So clean and fresh. Andazi (I don’t know) how to explain it.”

Another one said: “The soul and funk vibes are infectious! Love the energy in this recording.”

While another one said: “your voice is so healing.”

The accident that claimed the life of DJ Poizen and four more lives, occurred on August 30 on the N1 near Ysterberg Mountain, outside Polokwane. Leaving Chymamusique and another injured.

Departmental spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene said two sedans collided head-on before catching fire. Tidimalo added that four of the deceased were burnt beyond recognition.

“Preliminary reports suggest one of the vehicles may have attempted to overtake when the crash occurred. Although the investigation is ongoing, reckless driving has not been ruled out as a contributing factor,” said Tidimalo.
