Toya Delazy and her wife, Alison Chaig, expect a child together. Toya, whose real name is Latoya Nontokozo Buthelezi, announced the news on her Instagram page. With all three of the pregnancy photos she posted, one can tell that she and her wife are deeply in love. Both are also very excited about the new life on the way.

Toya Delazy career

Toya broke into the South African music industry in the year 2012. At the time, she was a unique artist in Mzansi. Most upcoming musicians made the house, hip hop and RnB music; Toya made pop, and her sound was international. With the uniqueness of her sound, she managed to top the charts.

After the hits Pump It On, Memoriam, Love Is In The Air and Heart, from her 2021 Album titled Due Drop, she gained a broad fan base for herself. In 2014, she released the album Ascension; in the album, she featured the rapper Cassper Nyovest on the song My City.

She is from the Royal Buthelezi clan from KwaZulu Natal. Her grandfather is the Inkatha Freedom Party leader, politician and MP Mangosuthu Buthelezi. She is an actual princess. She and her partner Alison have been together for over a decade. Toya’s child is a rainbow baby, meaning the couple lost a child before the new baby’s conception.
