There’s Always Pressure – Folz

Knocked out of the Nedbank Cup by a third-tier side, with only two league wins in the new year Romain Folz state that there’s always pressure.

Folz hasn’t had a good year so far after being knocked out by Dondol Stars in the Nedbank Cup last 16 on penalties, a week later he suffered a defeat against Stellenbosch.

The 32-year-old recently signed a new contract with Usuthu but since then things haven’t been going well.

Ambitious Usuthu is set to finish a season without a trophy after losing the MTN8 final to Orlando Pirates earlier this season and their top four target remains in doubt as they seem to be dropping a bit by bit.

The KwaZulu Natal side is sitting 10th in the standings and 11 points behind second-placed Supersport United.

Folz feels that they need time, things won’t just change. When he was asked if he feels under pressure he mentioned that every job has pressure even though he is under pressure like any other working person.

“There’s always pressure with the job to everywhere. I’m sure if you can ask the question to anyone everyone is going to tell you that. Look it’s part of the job, if you ask me I feel under pressure, not more than yesterday, not more than tomorrow,” Folz told the media

“There’s always pressure in the job. The fact is I know where we want to go, and we know also it’s not going to come easy there’s a lot of work to be done.

“Yes we are ambitious it’s a process, there are a lot of things to put in the workplace. We need time to do that.”
