Devon Saal has spoken about his future briefly after spending last season with now relegated Jomo Cosmos.

Saal, 30, spent the last half of the duration of his contract on the sidelines after being told that he was not part of Ezenkosi’s plans after six months. However, the striker is looking forward to making a swift comeback with trials arranged with a DStv Premiership side as well as a GladAfica Championship outfit.

“I’m currently in Cape Town, no deal so far but I’ve got trials lined up,” Saal told iDiski Times.

“I just hope I make the right decision in the end and properly showcase to whoever that I’m still willing and good enough to play.

“Yes I’ve got trials in Cape Town and outside of Cape Town so far but you know we can’t discuss it yet, otherwise people will go mad. You never know what could happen.”

A close source has revealed that Saal most likely will be on trial at Cape Town Spurs, but the biggest revelation was the links with Marumo Gallants where the left-footed winger will also be on trial, having last been in the top flight with Maritzburg United.
