Swallows Chairman David Mogashoa has given an update regarding their squad for next season, and who will be leading them in the 2022/2023 campaign.
The 2019/2020 GladAfrica Champions had a difficult battle against relegation this season but retained their top-flight status after successfully navigating the Promotional Playoffs earlier this month.
With a number of players expected to leave the club, Mogashoa said on social media on Tuesday that they would be making announcements about their squad in the near future.
He also confirmed they will be meeting with Dylan Kerr when he returns to the country, and will then make a decision on the coach’s future. Kerr’s contract expires at the end of the month.
“Dear Maswaiswai, we understand the pain you went through the past season,” Mogashoa posted on his Twitter account.
“I want to assure you that our silence does not mean we are not doing anything.
“We are working tirelessly to correct the mistakes that happened last season and to make sure we build a club for the future.
“We will make announcements once we have finalised the 2022/23 squad and the position of the Head Coach.
“It is an open secret that coach Kerr’s contract ends 30 June 2022. Coach Kerr is currently out of the country, we will have a meeting with him next week when he returns.”
