Sukazi Slams Refereeing Agenda Vs TS Galaxy

TS Galaxy owner and president Tim Sukazi has insisted that referees in the DStv Premiership have an agenda against his side.

The Rockets have already bettered the record of Bidvest Wits of receiving the most red cards in a season.

Wits had received seven red cards in 2013/2014, while Galaxy have already received eight red cards with eight games remaining in this current campaign.

However, Sukazi has insisted there is an agenda against his team and Sead Ramovic’s men could sit much higher up the log.

“It doesn’t need a rocket scientist to see that [we could be in fourth or sixth position]. Here is a club playing a good brand of football, attacking, dominating opponents, but then every time the momentum is interfered by the red card and this is a club that is not unruly,” Sukazi said on Sports Night Live.

“So we are not like a club, let me say with all due respect again, like Jomo Cosmos who have [Andre] Rabutla and Linda Buthelezi in the team. If we were a club like that, surely maybe would be deserving most of the cards.

“But then not this kind of a club, surely it is designed and you can see by behaviour of the referees. I could be last week we played against SuperSport [United], we dominated them inside out but the referee decided the game and you can see when a referee is on the brief, you see in their eyes, I can see, I can I look at them, and I see that [Thando] Ndzandzeka is on a brief.

“And I told the SuperSport officials before the game, that guy, this game is in your favour, this referee decided for you. The outcome of this matches, they came to me after the game, I told Kaitano Tembo, I told Monyai before the game, they can tell you that.

“What happened next? We score, we lead, Ndzandzeka from nowhere is giving a very dubious penalty for SuperSport to equalize. You could see he was desperate to find that moment.

“What happens thereafter we get SuperSport handled the ball twice, three times actually – [Sifiso] Ngobeni and [Onismor] Bhasera at the same time, handball to Bhasera and handball to Ngobeni, he doesn’t give it as a penalty inside the box.

“Thereafter Bhasera also handles it again, you know we slice them through, cross and Bhasera handles inside the box and there is no penalty.

“But to SuperSport a very dubious one he gives. So you could see that this is designed somewhere and surely there is a force and look every dog has its day. That’s all I can say for now.”

Galaxy currently sit in 15th place on the log, just one point above bottom-placed Baroka.
