While the minister of energy Gwede Mantashe still plays good politics as the chairperson of the African National Congress and the minister in the cabinet.
The fact is that South Africans are starting to discover some hectic news about the old man who has been doing well for the party.
But now he has been implicated in corruption cases which might become a nightmare for him when some people close to him starts to spill the beans.
Some have already started to say that after Zweli Mkhinze removal from his position by Anc.
Mantashe will follow him as the corruption that he is facing is very serious and that allegation might need the SIU to investigate.
But Gwede has been the nice guy as he approaches the media and his Anc comrades but one of the things that might make him fall from his grace.
This is how he comments about the likes of Ace Magashule and Jacob Zuma which makes him be enemy number 1 to those who support those comrades.
Things started to be difficult for Mantashe when he was accused of corruption in Bosasa we’re the likes of Angelo Agrizzi we’re arrested.
He was also accused of benefiting money from Bosasa by Agrizzi who has spilled the beans on Zondo commission.
But nothing much was said by Mantashe as he talked about cadre deployment when he appeared before the commission.
But now things can turn around for good as Ramaphosa is looking to clean out what is called corruption in the party.
And taken them one by one might be his strategy because the likes of Magashule has been taken out from their position which has caused more drama in the corridors of Luthuli house
