Cape Town Spurs have completed the signing of veteran midfielder Michael Morton ahead of the 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship season.

Morton, 33, has been roped into the Urban Warriors as they continue their drive for proven experience to compete for promotion to the DStv Premiership.

After luring former academy product Clayton Daniels to the club for one last dance at the age of 37, Morton becomes their third arrival, along with Boitumelo Radiopane.

The Orlando Pirates teenage sensation has been touted as the next superstar in South African football after netting 24 goals in the DStv Diski Challenge last season.

Meanwhile, Morton, who is also a product of the Buccaneers, enters his 14th year in professional football after spells with Bidvest Wits, Maritzburg United, AmaZulu, SuperSport United, Cape Umoya and Cape Town All Stars.
