The Springboks don’t have any time to savour their triumph over the All Blacks which now has little bearing on their Rugby World Cup campaign.
Coach Jacques Nienaber was pleased with how things went but quick to point out that the warm-up win has no bearing on the outcome of the RWC.

Nienanber was more interested in the progress his team had made ahead of the showpiece.

Nienaber was concerned that the Springboks weren’t terribly clinical when it came to taking their chances against New Zealand.
“For us, it’s a good performance in terms of certain things we wanted to get right,” Nienaber added.
“Then there’s a lot of things that we didn’t get right.
“I thought we had a lot of opportunities in the first 20 minutes.
“I think in the whole game there were about eight opportunities where we got held up twice.”
