Other Zimbabweans in South African police custody

Recently, there was a court case against a Zimbabwean man who is being accused of murdering his employer together with her son. He has been in police custody over the festive season.

South Africans also recently launched an operation to stop illegal migrants from Zimbabwe from entering their country through the Limpopo River. For some days, people were at the banks of the Limpopo sending back migrants who were crossing illegally. These cases have fuelled the hate between nationals of South Africa and Zimbabweans.
