Simba SC have confirmed the appointment of former Wydad Atheltic Club and CR Belouizdad boss Zoran Manojlović as their new head coach.
After parting ways with Spaniard Pablo Franco Martin after a trophyless 2021/22 season several high-profile names were linked with the East African giants.
Stuart Baxter was said to be one of the front-runners for the role but the former Kaizer Chiefs tactician was said to have rejected the opportunity while reports suggest his wage demands put the club off.
However, the club has now secured Manojlović who holds extensive experience on the continent after stints in Angola with Primeiro de Agosto, Wydad in Morocco, Al Hilal in Sudan and Belouizdad where he won the Algerian Ligue 1 before being lured to Saudi Arabia with Al Tai.
