Safety concerns force temporary closure of Vinci Crown Salon in Durban

Vinci Crown Salon, a well-known beauty establishment in Durban, has announced that, “after careful consideration,” it has temporarily closed its Glenwood branch.

The employees from this branch have since been spread across the other branches in Pinetown and Umhlanga.

VINCI CROWN SALON CLOSE GLENWOOD BRANCH

In an official statement, Vinci Crown Salon mentioned two major issues that led to this closure: the safety of the surrounding area, which affected both staff and customers, and the state of the building itself.

“Over the past few years, we’ve experienced ongoing safety concerns in the area, including incidents affecting both our clients and staff, alongside structural issues with the building itself.”

Management emphasised the need to prioritise safety, stating that operating in that area had become a deep concern.

“The safety and well-being of everyone who walks through our doors will always come first, and continuing to operate from this location is no longer something we’re comfortable doing.”

A move to a more secure location is on the horizon, promising customers the warm service that they’ve become accustomed to.

“We are actively working on relocating to a safer, more secure space where we can continue to welcome you with the same warmth and care you’ve come to expect from us.”

A NEW HOME IS ON THE CARDS

Management has promised to share any updates regarding the new location, thanking customers for their unwavering support and understanding during this transition.

“We are deeply grateful for your loyalty and support over the years, and we thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition. We will keep you updated every step of the way and can’t wait to welcome you to our new home soon.”
