16-year-old Kailia Posey, who starred on Toddlers and Tiaras has passed away, announced by her mom, Marcy Posey Gatterman via a Facebook post on Monday 2 May.

Marcy Posey revealed that her daughter Kailia had passed on via a Facebook post on Monday 2 May.
“I don’t have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone. Please give us privacy as we mourn the loss of Kailia. My baby forever,” she wrote.

The family has since revealed that Kailia had committed suicide.
“Although she was an accomplished teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately in one impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to end her earthly life,” said the family in a statement to TMZ.
“She won countless crowns & trophies after competing on the pageant circuit her entire life … Her highly acclaimed talent as a contortionist had already led to professional touring job offers, and she had recently been selected to be a cheerleader at her high school next fall,” the family continued.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CHILD STAR
-Kailia was a young star on the TLC series Toddlers and Tiaras which ran from 2009 to 2013. She appeared in at least two episodes at the age of five.
-In January, she announced that she was gearing up to compete as Miss Washington Teen USA in February.
-Her mom previously revealed that she began competing in pageants at the age of three.
-Kailia dreamt of becoming a flight attendant, according to her beauty pageant biography.
-She played the role of Agnes in the Netflix horror movie Eli in 2018.
-Kailia became a popular GIF when her “evil” grin went viral.
