Temperature and UVB forecast
Gauteng:
Temperature: Cloudy and warm with morning fog patches in the highveld becoming partly cloudy from mid-morning.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy with drizzle and morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east with drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog patches in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated thunderstorm in the late afternoon in the north-west.
Free State:
Temperature: Morning fog in the east, otherwise fine and warm.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy with fog along the coast in the morning where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm but hot in the north where it will become partly cloudy with isolated late afternoon thunderstorm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south -easterly, becoming fresh towards the evening.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy with fog in the west and the south in the morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light north westerly in the south in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly. It will be light to moderate south-easterly in the south-west coast.

Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Fog patches in places in the south at first, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy to cloudy along the coast in the evening.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north-westerly, becoming moderate westerly from the west late morning, but moderate to fresh south-westerly in the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Fog patches in places along and south of the escarpment at first, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy from the north in the evening.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate northerly, becoming north -easterly in the afternoon, but light westerly from the west in the evening.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Cloudy with isolated showers along the coast at first and morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly, becoming fresh in the afternoon.
