President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation at 8 pm on the energy crisis.
This follows the government’s consultations with stakeholders and energy experts.
Ramaphosa met with business, civil society, labour, and leaders of political parties represented in Parliament.
Eskom has been struggling to keep the lights on, implementing different stages of blackouts including Stage 6, and crippling the economy.
The president will announce measures to tackle the ongoing power crisis.
