The Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers has ordered the mobilisation of resources into the arrest of a 30-year-old suspect who is wanted in connection with an assault case at a clinic in Relela in the Tzaneen Policing Precinct.
WHAT HAPPENED AT THE CLINIC IN LIMPOPO
According to police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, the assault incident is alleged to have taken place on Wednesday, 19 April 2023 at about 11:50.
“A preliminary investigation into the incident suggests that the 30-year-old suspect entered the clinic and demanded medical attention from the nurse who was attending to other patients. While waiting for the nurse, the suspect went on to physically attack the female nurse,” he said.
“The suspect who is known allegedly fled the scene and has not yet been arrested.”

POLICE CALL FOR THE SUSPECT TO HAND HIMSELF OVER
“Police are thereby calling on Promise Lebepe (30) from Relela in Bolobedu to hand himself over to the nearest police station as we believe he can help us in solving this case,” he requested.

Until he hands himself over, the Police investigations are continuing.

WANTED MEN FOR RAPE OF TEENAGE GIRLS
Meanwhile, two identikits of wanted suspects in connection with the rape of teenage girls were recently circulated online by the South African Police Service (SAPS).
These wanted suspects are being sought for separate rape cases involving teenage girls in various parts of the country.
