Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli have signed former Swansea and Reading winger Modou Barrow, who joined the club from Jeonbuk Hyundai.
The 30-year-old winger has played for several clubs in his career so far, with his most high-profile stint being at Swansea, where he made 51 Premier League appearances between 2014 and 2017.
He left Swansea to join Reading for three years and was loaned out to Denizlispor in 2019/20 before completing a transfer to Jeonbuk in South Korea, where he won two league titles and two domestic cups.
On Tuesday, Mosimane’s new side Al Ahli Saudi confirmed his arrival, stating: “Al-Ahli board completed the procedures of signing Gambian winger Modou Barrow, in a transfer deal, from Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.”
Mosimane and his team return to action on Wednesday, when they will take on second-placed Al Hazem.
They could themselves jump into second position with a win after beating log leaders Al-Faisaly on Saturday.
Al Ahli are still unbeaten under Mosimane, picking up five wins and five draws, as they pushing for promotion to the Saudi Pro League.
