Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has opened the door for a return to coach in the Premier Soccer League.
Mosimane, 58, is currently without a job after opting to leave Egyptian giants Al Ahly after their CAF Champions League final loss to Wydad Athletic Club.
At the time, Mosimane is understood to have to taken the decision to leave because he was suffering from fatigue following two years of a hectic schedule and constant criticism from Al Ahly legend and Egyptian media.
However, ‘Jingles’ feet are seemingly itching to get back on the sidelines after he recently stated he would like to coach a national team that could compete for the African Cup of Nations.

He has now added that even a return to the Premier Soccer League is an option he would consider, if a “serious” club was to approach him.
“If you ask me at this point in time where I am, I am in Africa, in the continent,” Mosimane said during an interview with Newsroom Afrika.
“What is it that I have not won? I have won everything in the continent. The only one that I haven’t won is the AFCON.
“If there is a good project, not offer, project, of a team that has capacity to win the AFCON, we will consider that.
“But they must be serious, they must never be they want a coach because they want a coach and I should also assess this, can we really achieve what we want to achieve here.
“So that’s what I’m looking for at the moment. Or, even a club in South Africa that wants to win the Champions League, that wants to win the CAF Super Cup. They must be serious.
“I’ve been four times to the Champions League final, I know how to get there. I also know how not to get there. I’ve failed maybe five times to get to the final, I’ve failed about five times and so I’ve learnt. In football we say it’s about lessons learnt.
“I’ve learnt from my mistakes but now the last three Champions Leagues we’ve been to the final. It means we’ve found the specimen of how do it.”
