According to Kuwaiti news outlet Al-Anba, Al-Raayan have identified Mosimane as potential replacement after they have only won four of their 15 league games this season
The South African is currently stuck in contract talks with Al Ahly, with both sides unable to agree to terms of an extension so far.
The two camps have been negotiating for a while now but Mosimane insisted that money is not an issue.
However, some in the club’s leadership didn’t appreciate ‘Jingles’ public comments about the negotiations and it is yet to be seen whether the two sides will come to terms.
Meanwhile, several clubs in the gulf region are understood to follow the situation closely and are keen to pounce on the chance of getting him.
Mosimane is no stranger in Qatar after he finished his playing career with Al-Sadd back in 1996.
