Pirates Secure R1.5-million After Excellent Last Season Stretch

Orlando Pirates have won the Quarter Four Innovation standings of the DStv Premiership and R1-5million.

The Buccaneers who have accumulated the most points and scored the most goals in the second half of the season finished unbeaten with five wins and two draws in the final seven games, accumulating 17 points.

Swallows, who appointed Musa Nyatama as their permanent head coach after moving them from relegation struggles into the top-eight secured 16 points over the same period, while Cape Town City, who pipped Kaizer Chiefs to fourth place finished in third place.

Mamelodi Sundowns secured the three other Q-Innovation spots over the course of the season as well as the league title with a record seven games to spare.
