Pirates Confirm Staff Exit – iDiski Times

Orlando Pirates have confirmed the exit of long-serving Administration Manager Floyd Mbele.

Mbele has been placed on special leave earlier this season after an alleged fallout with management, as reported by iDiski Times.

The veteran administrator as well as Stanley Tshabalala had played key roles within the Soweto giants in forming part of the management structure, and recruiting players and technical staff over the past decade.

However, the club are seemingly headed in a new direction, with Mbele’s exit now confirmed via their official website.

“Orlando Pirates has accepted the resignation of the club’s Administration Manager Mr Floyd Mbele, The Club Management wishes him the best in his future endeavours,” the statement read.

Mbele is likely to move on to a new club in the DStv Premiership with Sekhukhune United believed to be his possible next destination.
