Lasizwe Dambuza and Mohale Motaung sparked dating rumours after posing together at the Durban July 2022. Fans of the two “friends” can’t help but notice how they have one major thing in common, and that is they are both Somizi Mhlongo’s exes.
If there’s one thing Lasizwe has perfected, is getting people to talk on the socials. He always knows how to stir controversy and engage in publicity stunts.
His latest post is no different from that although it might be hard to tell if this is indeed a stunt or genuine. Posing alongside each other, they captioned their snaps, “Always and forever, my love.”
Somizi and Mohale’s break-up has been very messy with Somizi venting out all of his frustrations on his reality show Living The Dream with Somizi. Despite what other people might think of this Somizi has been using his platform to tell his side of the story but people think he is using this as an opportunity to bash Mohale.
Mohale though will get his opportunity to do the same with his interview special, Mohale: On the Record on Showmax.
Lasizwe and Somizi’s break-up was also filled with some drama. This saw him missing an invite to the widely documented wedding special. But a few months later, Lasizwe made it seem as though they had patched things up when he posted a picture of them together.
In the caption, Lasizwe wrote, “Having a fallout with you was one of the most emotional situations I had to go through. What broke my heart was that our fallout was based on people’s opinions about our relationship. To me, you’ve always been someone I’ve always looked up to, someone I called an industry Father.
“We used to have our long chats over the phone which I dearly missed and after a few years of not talking I must say that hit me hard. But I’m glad we had our talk and ironed out our issues. I’m SO looking forward to building a much more stronger bond and great memories with you.
“PS: Your wedding looks like a dream. I watched it and baby cried a bit because I can see you finally found love and being loved suits you. Somizi, you are loved and you are love,” he wrote but Somizi mized it.
Lasizwe later revealed that they are not in good terms on his talk show, “He is undoubtedly talented but as a person, the vibes with him and I? No,” said Lasizwe, before adding “I believe you can’t be in the same circle as someone who is doing the same thing as you, but individually, give me zero for him.”
