Parker Ruled Out Of Stellies Clash

Kaizer Chiefs have suffered a major blow ahead of their clash with Stellenbosch FC, with Bernard Parker ruled out of the game due to suspension.

The 36-year-old has been one of the standout performers for Stuart Baxter’s side this season, but Amakhosi will have to battle without the veteran midfielder.

Ephefeni Glamour Boys will travel to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch FC on Saturday at 17h00 at the Danie Craven Stadium, which will be Stellies’s first home match with supporters since March 2020.

Parker is the only Kaizer Chiefs player that is suspended for the upcoming game this weekend after picking up his fourth yellow card in the 1-0 loss against SuperSport United. The Boksburg born midfielder has played 19 games this season which includes coming in as a substitute once.

While their opponents Stellenbosch are set to miss the two South Americans Junior Mendieta and Juan Ortiz Hernandez.

The relegation battle between Swallows and Baroka will also see AmaSwaiSwai fight their battle without their two target mans Ruzaigh Gamildien and Kagiso Malinga, While Bakgakga as well will battle without Train Mokhabi.
