South African TV and radio personality Pabi Moloi has broken her silence following shocking online rumours claiming she had passed away.

The former Power FM host, who recently made headlines after fans noticed her significant weight loss, took to social media on Monday, 20 October 2025, to set the record straight.

Sharing a short video, Moloi dismissed the claims with a caption that read, “The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated. 20 October 2025.”

Her post quickly went viral as concerned fans flooded her comment section, expressing relief and support. Many also used the opportunity to check in on her wellbeing.

One user, @blxckuniversity, commented, “No man, can you at least put the country at ease and tell us the diagnosis, because you are a TV daughter of RSA, since you were very young, and it’s concerning to everyone to see you changing right in front of our eyes. Are you well? Must we kick that extortionist’s a*se for you?”

Another, @Billy_PMS, added, “I’m sorry to hear such fake news. I know it’s your body, and sorry to be insensitive, but we miss the old Pabi.”

Meanwhile, @Patricia_Bantom took a lighter tone, writing, “If people pronounce you dead when you are still alive, they are increasing your life expectancy.”
