Otladisa Opens Up On Chiefs Social Media Stir

Marumo Gallants winger Katlego Otladisa has opened up about the social media banter that caused a stir amongst Kaizer Chiefs’ supporters earlier this year.

After a good season for Gallants last season, there was speculation that the former Platinum Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns player could make a move to the Soweto Giants. And things heated up when the player himself posted a cryptic post on Instagram.

Otladisa was speaking to Lethabo Kganyago in the latest edition of iDiski Times, and said he wouldn’t disclose if there if there were any concrete offers, but laughed about the social media post.

I honestly wouldn’t like to disclose that right now, but yeah, you know, it caused a stir,” Otladisa chuckled to iDiski Times.

“You know, rumours will always be there but do I like being in the limelight? No. But the situation forced me, like it called me into it.

“There was even a point where the team (Marumo) called me and told me that I have to stay away from social media a bit, because it’s causing a lot of stir and just lay low so I don’t cause confusion.”

You can read Otladisa’s full interview in the latest edition of iDiski Times.
