Orlando Pirates snap up another top youngster

Talk about building for the future! Orlando Pirates have landed yet another top talent.

The Buccaneers are already home to some of the country’s top youngsters.

The likes of Relebohile Mofokeng, Lebone Seema and Cemran Dansin have already made their mark in professional football.

In fact, calling Mofokeng a youngster feels criminal in itself. The talented winger is already one of the top senior players in the country.

Not to forget the recently departed duo of Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Mohau Nkota.

Now, Orlando Pirates have completed the signing of yet another seriously talented youngster.

Orlando Pirates sign Siwelele rising star

Orlando Pirates have signed rising star Will Henson from Siwelele FC.

Henson is a lethal teenage striker and a product of the famed SuperSport United academy.

He was a top performer for Siwelele FC as well as the national Under-17 side, Amajimbos.

The youngster was recently invited for a trial to United Kingdom sides QPR Rangers and Leeds United.

Today, he made his debut for new side Orlando Pirates FC in the Diski Challenge.

It will be no surprise to see him soon in the first-team setup. Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has not been shy to throw youngsters into the fray at the Buccaneers.

Bucs back in action

Orlando Pirates’ reserve side kicked off the day with a thumping 5-0 victory over Siwelele.

Next up, the senior side faces Golden Arrows in a crucial league fixture at 15:30.

A victory for Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side will lift them three points clear of Mamelodi Sundowns.
