Orlando pirates set to sign the PSL on-form striker for R2 Million

Orlando Pirates has been reportedly close to signing the services of one of the GladAfrica Championship’s red-hot strikers.

According to the iDiski Times, pirates discuss the services of Monnapule Saleng with Free State Stars.



Saleng took the form of his life last season when he scored 13 goals in 29 games for Ea Lla Koto to top the table of the League’s goals.

And the Pirates and Stars media reports have already struck an R2 million contract for Saleng to relocate to Orlando before next season.

“They agreed to a price tag of R2 million, he is the NFD’s leading goal scorer,” the source stated.

That was Saleng’s only second season at the Orbit College 2019 GladAfrica Championship.



Saleng, 23, is a unique player since he can play in several attacking positions on the pitch.

The player would give the likes of Zakhele Lepasa, Gabadinho Mhango, Mabaso and other attacking players some real competition.
