Orlando Pirates could help Kaizer Chiefs secure one of the biggest signings in recent memory.
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are both actively planning transfer deals already.
So, Amakhosi and Bucs fans can expect some big changes to their current squads. The latest transfer rumour doing the rounds sees a Pirates player linked with an exit. Ultimately, an exit that could open the door for Chiefs to make a huge signing. Here is the latest.
PIRATES STAR ATTRACTS INTEREST FROM PSL RIVALS
Pirates young goalkeeper, Ethan Visagie has drawn interest from rivals Chippa United.
“They are believed to have apparently enquired about Pirates goalkeeper Ethan (Visagie). They are preparing to find. replacement for Stanley (Nwabili) when he leaves at the end of the season. Yes, he hasn’t played an official game for Pirates but the scouts who know him have recommended him to Chippa United that he could be a good and perfect replacement for Nwabili. So, for now, there is nothing concluded yet but the interest is there,” the insider stated on SNL.
Meaning, Pirates product Visagie could join Chippa United in the next transfer window if a deal is agreed.
Furthermore, if these reports are true then Nwabili is set to leave at the end of the season. This will give Kaizer Chiefs a golden opportunity to secure one of their biggest transfer targets.
CHIEFS HANDED BIG TRANSFER BOOST IN NWABILI PURSUIT
Chiefs are in the market for a new goalkeeper.
Namely, Chippa United goalkeeper, Nwabili.
So, with Nwabili set to leave at the end of the season and a potential replacement (Pirates product, Visagie) already identified, Amakhosi have a golden opportunity to sign him.
Moreover, the Soweto giants are planning on releasing a couple of shot-stoppers to free up space for a new shot-stopper. Both of these Chiefs goalkeepers are facing likely departures. Meanwhile, these THREE goalkeeper targets are in Amakhosi’s books. However, Nwabili is their main target.
Therefore, Chiefs have their best chance of signing Nwabiliu. Interestingly, a Pirates player could indirectly help them secure this blockbuster deal.
SHOULD PIRATES LET VISAGIE GO TO CHIPPA? SHOULD CHIEFS SIGN NWABILI? IF SO, WHICH AMAKHOSI KEEPERS SHOULD MAKE WAY FOR HIM?
