Bonginkosi Makume has officially found a new after the former Baroka defender put pen to paper with Maritzburg United.
The 26-year-old had spent the past four seasons at the now-relegated Limpopo team, having originally joined from JDR Stars.
Last season Makume was one of the stand-out players at Baroka, featuring in 19 DStv Premiership games, scoring three goals.
Makume confirmed to iDiski Times writer Lethabo Kganyago that he has signed a deal, and it could have happened earlier but for load shedding!
“Now I can just humbly [say] that I’m in KZN now,” Makume told iDiskiTimes.
“I finally put pen to paper with Maritzburg United. It happened today (Tuesday), but I’ve been here for like three days.
“Loadshedding has been the reason why it had delays, me signing because they couldn’t print papers. But I got to sign, it is a three-year deal.”
