Leicester City’s South African junior international Khanya Leshabela will be spend the first six months of the 2022/2023 season on loan in the EFL Division Two.
Leshabela has joined Crew Alexandra for the 2022/2023 campaign, and will be looking for regular first-team football after signing a six-month loan with the club.
The 22-year-old made his Premier League debut in 2021, coming on as a late substitute in a 5-0 win over Sheffield United, but recently had another loan spell, at League One outfit Shrewsbury Town.
Leshabela was born in Tshwane, but his family moved to the United Kingdom when he was just two years old.
He has been at Leicester for the past nine years, having come through their academy.
Crewe confirmed his loan deal on Monday, stating on their website, “Everyone at the club would like to welcome Khanya to the club and wish him all the best for the coming season.”
