Mamelodi Sundowns have continued to bolster their squad after announcing the signing of Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams from SuperSport United.

Williams, 30, can look back at a stellar campaign during which he particularly impressed when wearing the national team colours, making several saves in defeats to France and Morocco.

The Bafana shot stopper leaves SuperSport after spending his whole senior career at the club. He’s made 337 appearances for Matsatsantsa since his debut for the club on 25 October 2011 during Gavin Hunt’s first spell.

Today, Downs announced Williams as their new signing, adding on to their rich list of goalkeepers already at the club.
