Former Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu midfielder Keagan Buchanan has officially signed with newly-promoted Cape Town Spurs.
After weeks of assessment under an eagle eye of coach Shaun Bartlett, Spurs have finally signed Buchanan after he impressed the coach, the club announced on Friday.
The 31-year-old was with AmaZulu for the past two seasons, making 57 appearances during which he scored once and set up five more.
He played over 3,500 minutes in all competitions as he was pulling the strings at Usuthu and led the club to their first final since 2010.
‘The Fixer’ as he is famously known will look to add his experience to the Urban Warriors and aim to guide them to a successful season after their return to top-flight football.
Spurs have already signed Siyanda Msani and Luvuyo Phewa on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, while Boitumelo Radiopane has returned on loan from Pirates.
