Not less than two South African clubs have shown interest in buying the SuperSport United’s status.

According to reports, Cape Town Spurs, who were previously knowns as Ajax Cape town and also Wits University who were known as Bidvest wits, have both shown interest in buying the SuperSport United’s Status.



Due to the financial issues, the Tshwane based side look set to have finally made up their minds about the club’s future.

Going forward, it is believed that the Tshwane based side are looking for anyone interested in buying their club’s status.

The club currently has a rich history in terms of trophies, however, that will not stop the club from selling their top flight status.



The Siwelele side, Bloemfontein Celtic are also believed to be the other Premier Soccer League club who are looking to sell their status.

Last season, Highlands Park and Bidvest wits were the clubs who sold their top flight status’ and ended up participating in the lower divisions.
