Orlando Pirates’ CAF Champions League first preliminary round clash against La Cure Waves on Sunday will not be televised.
The Buccaneers confirmed the news on Friday, with the club stating that match updates will instead be provided through their social media platforms.
Having won seven of their opening matches this season, Pirates now turn their attention to the CAF Champions League, with their continental campaign officially getting underway in Mauritius.
The South African champions will travel to face La Cure Waves in the first leg of their First Preliminary Round tie on Sunday as they begin their push to reach the group stages.
The fixture will see the Buccaneers return to the Côte d’Or National Sports Complex in St Pierre, where they also began their 2024/25 campaign.

The focus will now be firmly on securing a positive result against the reigning champions of Mauritius, who will be carrying plenty of confidence after their own historic campaign.
For Pirates, a convincing away victory would put them in a commanding position heading into the second leg.
Should Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side return to South Africa with a comfortable advantage, the Pirates coach could have the luxury of resting some of his key players and rotating his squad for the return fixture.
