Cape Town All Stars will complete their relocation to Johannesburg in the coming weeks and will also change their name and appoint a new coach.
All Stars will relocate to Johannesburg as iDiskiTimes reported and Igugu leKapa have also appointed a new head coach, Sinethemba Badela after one season with Allan Freeze, who was appointed at the beginning of 2021/22 after he was released by Richards Bay FC.
Badela has been with the side since they came back to the second division. Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Gareth Ncaca who was the assistant coach alongside Badela under Freese will remain in Cape Town as he decided not to take the job, meaning Stars will have to look for an assistant coach that will work alongside Badela
The new face of Johannesburg is also expected to finalize the change of name in the coming weeks to All Stars FC.

Meanwhile, Morgan Mammila who finished the last campaign at Chippa United as assistant coach to Kurt Lenjties will be part of the senior management at All Stars FC. Experienced Mammila was previously with Baroka FC and went to join Chippa United in the senior management role before he was an assistant of the Chilli Boys.
All Stars FC have a huge task at hand after losing several of their top players to the DStv Premiership, namely Ndiviwe Mdabuka, Azola Ntsabo, Sergio Kammies and Brooklyn Poggenpoel.
Stars will have to get players as quickly as they can with the season set to kick off mid of August 2023.
