Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene has spoken about playing home away from home after their CAF Champions League clash was moved to the FNB Stadium.

The 2016 African champions played their first match of group stages against Al Hilal in Rustenburg at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium and are now again forced to play away from Loftus Versfeld.

This comes after CAF didn’t approve usual home venues at Loftus and Lucas Moripe Stadium.

“First game we also played away, we played in Rustenburg and there’s nothing we can do,” Mweene said in the pre-match press conference.

“We have to go play at FNB Stadium but at the end of the day we playing at home, we used to play at FNB. Its about the country at moment not about PSL and we okay with it, we looking forward to Saturday.

The 37-year old also spoke about the importance of having fans in the stadium and pressure they felt when they were in Egypt during match day three.

“It felt good at the same they were pushing their team which was the plus for them compared to us here we dont have fans in the stadium

“It was a good feeling at the same [time] again, it added pressure on us like you know when you go to North African stadiums, [they] are always full, but we used to it now.”

Sundowns have managed to keep three clean sheets from their three Group A and sit at the of the group with seven points – four ahead of Al Ahly.
