Entertainment blogger Musa Khawula just about made it through another night out as he gets kicked out of a popular club. Musa Khawula’s commentary on Twitter is known for its satirical and disrespectful tone. He did not disappoint as he was expelled from Monarch, a well-known club frequented by celebrities.
In contrast, everyone else appeared to have gotten along with Khawula out of concern for what he might tweet. The restaurant and club that all your favourite celebrities and influencers frequently go to reportedly wasted no time forbidding Khawula from entering. Musa Khawula tweeted, “can’t even go drink a little bit, not me getting found out at Monarch; and being kicked out for no reason, lol.” Their justification was straightforward: “they know him.” The nightclub appeared aware that Khawula was not supposed to see specific events inside. Suppose you’ve ever been to or heard of what happens in Monarch.
The hotspot is one of the exclusive and expensive nightclubs where everyone is permitted some level of anonymity, opposite to what Khawula seems to believe. Musa said, “I believe monarch; Sandton is operating a sex house; otherwise, why was I pulled out and told we know you.”
Musa attended the Content Creator Awards earlier in the evening. The celebrities who were there seemed to let South Africans down. Lasizwe Dambuza was an Attendant at the Content Creator Awards. Dambuza has continually expressed his disgust on social media at Khawula’s initial description of him as a “pathological liar” for purportedly fabricating that Dambuza was dating YouTuber and entrepreneur Jabu Brown. Furthermore, Khawula implied that Lasizwe didn’t deserve to be included in Forbes’ list of the 30 under 30. However, judging from their conversation during the event, Dambuza and Khawula appeared to be having a great time. A surprise, all the more so considering how miserable Mihlali’s(Lasizwe’s best friend) life has been made online by Khawula.
On Twitter, Musa Khawula always touches a nerve, so He was appropriate for the recently held DSTV Content Creator Awards. Tweeps may have anticipated that Khawula would catch hands, but nothing could have been further from the truth. Monarch, a famous club for celebrities in Sandton, appears to be the only other organization that is not concerned about backlash over its treatment of Khawula.
Among our celebrities, the name Musa Khawula is uttered with a sense of dread. Since learning that he is a real person, he is comparable to how Nota is treated: with a sense of fear but reverie because of how much interaction he gets on Twitter.
