Msimango Opens Up On Chiefs Rumours

TS Galaxy defender Given Msimango, who has just penned a one-year extension at the club, has opened up on rumours linking him to Kaizer Chiefs

Msimango was hosted by Naledi Aphane on the TS Galaxy podcast and spoke about the rumours of joining Chiefs before he penned a one-year extension with Siyadumza.

The 25-year-old was heavily linked with Amakhosi after the 2021/22 campaign following the good season he had with Galaxy but he somewhat silenced the rumours after agreeing on extending his stay with Siyadumza.

“To be honest when the rumour started obviously a big club like that requiring your service even though it was a rumour, it gets you excited, it gets you in a mental space whereby you feel you done very well and you excited, you recognised for the work you,” Msimango said on the podcast.

“But the professional side of me took me back and I had to call the right people, the chairman, my agent to find out how true was is it.

“And there was some truth in it but no further steps were taken to make it possible hence I was okay, I was like ‘I’m in a professional environment, I’m contracted to TS Galaxy, regardless of my ambitions as a footballer I need to honour the contract that I have’.”
