Orlando Pirates midfielder Goodman Mosele says he is not in a hurry to get back into the national team however will let his performance do the talking.

Mosele hasn’t been in the national team since September last year and was sidelined with injuries for the majority of the previous campaign. He has since been sent out on loan at Chippa United where he has played four matches and scored one goal.

The 23-year-old said his focus is on helping the Chilli Boys do well enough to finish in the top eight and everything else including the national team can follow.

“If I work hard a call-up will come. That’s why I’m saying I’m working hard for my team, [and] the national team call-up will come,” Mosele told this publication.

“I’d really be happy to see Chippa in the top 8 and not fighting relegation because they are usually fighting relegation, you see. So it would be great when I leave to know I’ve helped the team get to the top eight.

“Personally, I just want to work for the team and any personal achievements will follow after that because the team always comes first.”
