The Gauteng Weather service has issued a warning of more disruptive weather with heavy rainfall predicted for the province this week.
Severe thunderstorms and excessive bursts of rain has been hitting Gauteng since last week due to a low-pressure system.
Cold and wet weather persisted for much of the weekend with thunderstorms that rocked parts of Johannesburg.
On Monday, 07 November the weather forecaster shared a serious warning to Gauteng residents of potential flooding and poor driving conditions.
The inclement weather is expected to last into Tuesday, with the South African Weather Service (SAWS) also issuing a Yellow level 4 warning for the province.
According to SAWS, the disruptive weather is expected to clear by Wednesday, 09 November.
