New era, New rhythm
The award-winning singer is stepping into the unknown with her new album. Daily Sun reports that the album will be released through Zakes Bantwini’s Mayonie Productions.
With the rollout starting soon, the first single will be released on 7 October, followed by a second single on 21 October ahead of the scheduled album drop on 4 November 2026.
This becomes a new chapter for the 38-year-old singer as she explores a new sound at a new label she announced she had joined on 17 September 2026.

An exciting chapter for Moonchild
This new exploration in sound follows a career built on a distinctive blend of electro-pop and kwaito, creating a whimsical, alternative and vibrant sound. The artist is known for her high-energy performances, colourful aesthetic, and international stature, and has been featured on culturally impactful albums like Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift.
This evolution is worth anticipating when considering her creative mind in bending genres and sound. Reportedly, The Blueprint will explore a new sonic direction through her unique perspective.
She will bring her distinct raspy voice to the Afro-house genre, as the project is connected to the African dancefloor with electronic, rhythmic elements at the core of the Afro-house genre.
New music teaser
The singer posted two videos on her Instagram seemingly teasing a new song with the caption:
“The time is almost here, boobeams, are you ready for the drop?” she wrote, dancing to the song in both videos.
